Meet Brittany Holmes
Where Passion and Purpose Unite – Your Personal Family Lawyer
Family is important to me, and as I grow older, I realize that there is so much truth in the phrase that “family is all we’ve got”. With a commitment to providing compassionate and skilled representation to every client, I believe it is my life’s purpose to help individuals and families through challenging transitions and tough conversations. Because of this, I take the ultimate pride in helping families make the best decisions to secure their legacies, and helping couples with children gain a fresh start after an unhealthy, and oftentimes abusive, relationship or marriage.Â
I understand that my work is not just a legal transaction. In fact, I realize that my work is deeply  personal and can result in life-altering experiences. This is why I handle every client with care. Breaking up, divorcing, or planning for what will happen after your own death is already hard. I aim to be a compassionate partner, minimizing the emotional toll of life transitions, and helping you to secure a stable foundation for the future.
Brittany is a Carolina Girl in every essence the term. Born and raised in the Lowcountry, she is a sucker for sweet tea and a fresh seafood boil. She currently lives in Beaufort County with her husband and two sons and holds a Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina.Â
About Us
While there are few types of legal disputes that have easy resolutions, those involving direct family members tend to be especially difficult. Even if both sides agree on what a preferable end result would look like, it can be almost impossible to obtain a positive outcome and comply with all state laws without help from a legal professional. That applies not only to questions of divorce, custody, or support payments, but also to the process of avoiding probate court after the death of a loved one.
Fortunately, our firm is built on the belief that life’s transitions—whether planning your legacy or navigating a divorce—can lead to positive and secure futures. We take a holistic approach to support families, guiding them through complex decisions with sensitivity, empathy, and expertise.
When it comes to family law, we don’t just help families split apart—we help them restructure. Divorce or separation doesn’t mean the end of a family; it means creating a new, healthier dynamic. By focusing on collaboration and minimizing hostility, we help our clients protect their children, preserve their mental well-being, and move forward with hope and purpose.
For estate planning, we are passionate about ensuring your loved ones and your legacy are protected. We believe you, not the government, should decide how your assets are distributed, that your loved ones’ inheritance shouldn’t be diminished by excessive taxes, and that your life savings should be safeguarded from the rising costs of long-term care and family disputes.
We are more than just a legal service—we’re your trusted partner for protecting what matters most. Whether you’re planning for the future or facing a major life transition, we’re here to help you secure stability, clarity, and peace of mind.

What Our Clients Have to Say
“After a couple of conversations with various lawyers, we are very glad to have finally found Brittany to create our estate plan. We are very happy with our experience. Even though we are not parents ourselves, her process worked very well for us from the first meeting through the signing. We need more lawyers like Brittany around and we happy introduce her to our friends who also need this service.”

“Brittany represented me for over 2.5 years – far longer than we originally anticipated – and during this time she was a great advocate for me. She always represented my best interests and through her persistence, she was finally able to help me get my divorce finalized. She was always pleasant to deal with and I know she had my best interests at heart the entire time. I interacted with her so much during the time she represented me, I almost feel like we are family”

“I would recommend Ms. Holmes without reservation to anyone who needs a lawyer. She is trustworthy, intelligent, kind, dependable, personable, and just makes you feel like your case is in good hands. She is very good at communicating, which for me was essential in my case. She was there for me in a tough time, and helped me feel confident and assured. She is very knowledgeable in her expertise of the law, as well as being honest. It is SO HARD to find good counsel, especially when you are feeling unsure and it’s hard to know which way to turn. I recommend Ms. Holmes đź’Ż, and will definitely use her help if I ever need representation again.”
